The Black-Robed Bastards of the Bench

Well, the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals has struck again. When parents of first, third, and fifth graders complained about their children being asked sexually-charged questions, they sued to prevent it. This cabal of jokers threw out the lawsuit saying:

1. There is no fundamental right of parents to be the exclusive provider of information regarding sexual matters to their children.

2. Parents have no due process or privacy right to override the determinations of public schools as to the information to which their children will be exposed while enrolled as students.

3. Parents have no fundamental right to influence their children on sexual matters in accordance with their personal and religious values and beliefs.

4. Parents have no right to prevent a public school from providing its students with whatever information it wishes to provide, sexual or otherwise, when and as the school determines that it is appropriate to do so.

This has got to have every left-winger in the country dancing in the aisles. There is now a judicial opinion - from their favorite court - that parents have no right to control what their children will learn. State control of children is now almost absolute except, of course, for paying for them. The State will still make parents support their children even as they refuse to allow them to instill their children with values and punish them when they depart from those values.

The Constitution provides that federal judges serve only during the period of good behavior. The judges of the Ninth have demonstrated time and time again that they're not even familiar with the concept of good behavior. If they ever had integrity, they traded it in in exchange for having their name in the press. They relish their notoriety because it's easier to get than respect. The Ninth is the most reversed court in the country, and decisions like this one are why.

The monstrous arrogance of these unaccountable clowns must come to an end. Impeachment begins in the House of Representatives. Find out who represents you in Congress and write them to demand that impeachment proceedings begin.
