When?
If this country was serious about fighting terrorism, Afghanistan would have been a parking lot by noon on September 12th and our borders would have been shut tight and remained closed today.
There is going to be a lot more death and destruction - a lot more - before this country gets serious about protecting us. And, yes, eventually we're going to have to do some things that'll make the liberals turn white and have every member of the ACLU gasping for breath. But, if we're going to survive as a free nation, we're going to have to do it.
Of course, if we don't want to be a free nation, we can just keep doing what we're doing. Tell me how you like that when Americans are getting their heads sawed off on the evening news by the tolerant, diversity-loving islamofascists of the world.

Excellent Rox...
did you hear Tom Harken/D-IA today say that it was ridiculous to even think of building a fence along the Mexican border... then, well... you'll expect a fence along the Canadian border too! Then I thought, Yeah, good idea. Let's do both borders... why in the hell not? We certainly have enough money to burn. Look at all the hundreds of billions we've spent in Iraq and Afganistan over the past several years.
