Non Compos Mentis

For decades now, dimocrats have done everything in their power to prevent us from becoming energy independent. We can't drill. We can't build new refineries. Now that that policy has produced the inevitable results, i.e., high gas prices and increasing dependence on foreign and unfriendly sources, they are pointing the finger at everyone but themselves.

They are absolutely oblivious to the real harm they have done to this country, economically and in terms of national security. They act as though there's no connection between their policies and our foreign dependence. They don't even see this as an issue of national security. Yet they feel they are the ones who should be running this country.

They're not, and God help us if they ever get back in charge.
