Better Than He Deserves

Zacarias Moussaoui will spend the rest of his life in a "Super Max" prison.

That means a 7 x 12 cell for every 23 of 24 hours. For one hour a day he will get a bigger cell.

No TV, no magazines, no recreational equipment. He will have his "religious" services piped into him. No socializing with other prisoners. Virtual solitary confinement.

Here in California, a death sentence results in an automatic appeal to the California Supreme Court, which then sets off the endless appeals that follow. I don't know about the law where he was convicted. Maybe it's the same. Maybe we won't be bothered with his endless appeals. Since he hates us and our way of life, he shouldn't be entitled to the use of the legal system.

It seems hard to believe, but there were actually some idiots on the jury who felt sorry for this guy because he had a bad childhood, and that's why they didn't give him the death penalty. A lot of people who had bad childhoods didn't grow up to be mass murderers. It seems incredible to me that people actually buy that crap. Oh well.

This failed bloody butcher of Allah is only 37. Unless he does everyone a favor and kills himself, he's going to have a long, long time to contemplate what a piece of garbage he is.


Then there's that long, warm eternity waiting for him after that.
