Will He Ever Just Shut Up

Howard Dean, the mouth that roared, is at it again. He's trying to portray political corruption as a partisan issue, i.e., only Republicans do it. Please! Dimocrats wrote the book on political corruption.

Two men have pled guilty to bribing Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA). A raid on his home "allegedly" turned up $90,000 in his freezer. He's refusing to step down from his post on the Ways and Means Committee, despite a request from Minority Leader Nancy-Deer-In-The-Headlights-Pelosi.

Rep. Alan Mollohan (D-W.Va) went from a net worth of $100,000 to $11 million in just five short years. How do you do that on a congressman's salary, generous and overpaid as it is? He is currently under investigation for 250 ethics violations.

I am not excusing former Republican Rep. Randy Cunningham. What he did was despicable. But, as of right now, no Republican is facing charges like these.

Is anybody happy with Dean these days? Dimocrats are furious at how he is handling the money at the DNC. Fundraising under him consistently lags behind Republican efforts, and we have more in the bank.

I suppose the best way to detract from your own failings is to keep the spotlight on someone else.
