I Stand Corrected

John Kerry, whose desire to be President is second only to his desire to live off rich women, recently said that if he were President, the current crisis between Israel and hezbollah would not be happening.

I pooh--poohed this notion until I gave it some further thought. Rich wife #2 gives money to an organization that supports hezbollah. So maybe, just maybe, he could convince her to turn off the spigot, thereby making it impossible for hezbollah to buy the missiles they are currently launching at Israel. Which would, of course, make the current crisis impossible.

Suppose for a second that John Kerry had been elected in 2005. The First Lady of the United States could rightly be accused of indirectly funding a terrorist organization.

Imagine that.
