Who Needs Terrorists

For decades now, Congress has absolutely refused to allow America to become energy independent. We can't explore. We can't drill. We can't refine. This is the bottom line, despite all the grand-sounding rhetoric coming from The Hill. This nearly unparalleled stupidity is harmful to our economy and, more importantly, our security, now more than ever. Congress has deliberately kept us at the mercy of people who would happily dance on our grave.

Furthermore, Congress has made no effort to control our borders. We should have been locked down tight by the evening of 9/11, but we weren't. When illegal aliens took to the streets waving a flag that was not ours, the people objected and Congress pretended to care. But, of course, Congress has no real interest in controlling immigration, too many potential voters. One would think, however, it would have some interest in securing our borders, though.

So, who needs terrorists? Congress is going to destroy America. All the terrorists have to do is sit back and wait to feast on our corpse.
