Global Warming

As America bakes, Africa freezes.

For the first time in 25 years, snow fell on South Africa's biggest city of Johannesburg, as icy temperatures gripped large areas of the country.

Bloemfontein, capital of the Free State province, got its first snow in 12 years.

In the southern Drakensberg mountains of the Eastern Cape province, the ski resort of Tiffindell got about 10" of snow in one day. Guests were elated.
