Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid
Joe Biden (D-DE), like many dimocrats, has delusions of adequacy. He recently gave a speech at the National Press Club in D.C. in which he made himself look completely ridiculous, although I'm sure he doesn't see it that way. I'm sure he was really impressed with himself.
He said that he believes that al qaeda is planning another attack. No kidding. Why is such brilliance languishing in the Senate.
He also unveiled his 4-point plan for making America safer and more respected in the international community:
1. He would implement the recommendations made by the 9/11 Commission. All of them? Some of them? Most of them? Only the ones he agreed with?
2. He would secure all of the "loose weapons around the world." What exactly are "loose" weapons and how is he going to secure them?
3. He would build and promote international organizations to deal with world problems. Remind me. What is the purpose of the U.N.?
4. He would develop "democratic institutions in the Middle East and beyond." By waving his wand or snapping his fingers?
We just might be safer if the donkey party took back government. Everyone would be bored to death by their pontifications!
