Why We're Better

Just what us Republicans needed, another Republican resigning in disgrace. The latest is Congressman Mark Foley from Florida, who resigned after certain inappropriate e-mails and IMs came to light.

At least Mr. Foley resigned. Congressman Barney Frank (D) allowed his boyfriend to run a prostitution ring out of his home and is still in Congress stinking up the place.

Don't ever forget that it was Ted Kennedy (D) who drove a woman into a body of water, walked away, and left her to die.

Don't ever forget that it was Bill Clinton (D) who (allegedly) raped a woman and told her to put ice on her cut lip and turned the Oval Office into his own private bordello.

Don't ever forget that it is Robert Byrd (D) who was not only a member of the Ku Klux Klan but recruited other people to join.

Don't ever forget that it was Lyndon Baines Johnson (D) who nominated Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court ONLY because he wanted to see a n----r on the bench when he walked by.

Don't ever forget that it was Howard Dean (D) who said that he hated Republicans and everything they stand for.

Don't ever forget that it was Dick Durbin (D) who compared America to Hitler, Pol Pot, and the Russian gulags.

Don't ever forget that it was Richard Nixon (R) who stepped down rather than put America through an impeachment. Bill Clinton (D) refused and that refusal put the White House back in the hands of Republicans.

I guess maybe he isn't completely worthless after all.
