Don't Let This Happen to the Country You Love!

There’s been a lot of buzz lately about Nancy Pelosi becoming President if democrats take back Congress. (This, of course, assumes that the democrats will let her be Speaker of the House.) It could happen, and here’s how.

President Bush is a good and decent man who believes that islamic terrorists are bad for America. Democrats want to impeach him in revenge for the Republican impeachment of a man who was not good and decent and who did not believe that islamic terrorists were bad for America. Forget all the rhetoric about the war in Iraq, NSA wiretapping, Gitmo, or anything else the democrats are using as a smokescreen for the real reason they want to impeach Bush. It’s payback, pure and simple.

If Bush is still in office when democrats take back the House, look for impeachment talk to heat up. All it takes is a majority. The democrats will be the majority, and there will be plenty of Republicans who will vote with them. The matter then moves to the Senate.

I think it goes without saying that every democrat member of the Senate will vote to convict. There are plenty of gutless Republicans in the Senate who will go along because they want to do what’s popular and will get them more votes in the next election. Having the courage of one’s convictions? Hasn’t been seen in the Senate for quite awhile now.

With a two-thirds vote, President Bush is out. Enter Dick Cheney, who will then have to select a vice president, who must be approved by Congress. Mr. Cheney has a bad heart. The democrats would do everything possible to block every single one of Mr. Cheney’s choices. Why? To stress him out. Mr. Cheney’s next heart attack could be the big one and bingo, bango, bongo, Nancy Pelosi is President of the United States.

Of course, she wouldn’t last long. Hillary Clinton would kill her in a blind rage
