A New Direction?

The stock market is at an all-time high.

Unemployment is at a 25-year low.

Oil prices are less than last year.

Taxes are at 20-year lows, while federal tax revenues are at an all-time high.

The federal deficit has been reduced 50% in one year and is a lower percentage of GDP than at any time in the last 40 years.

Home ownership is at an all-time high.

Several major terrorist attacks have been thwarted, and there has not been a single terrorist attack on U.S. soil in over 5 years.

Osama bin Laden is either living in a cave or dead, while 95% of al qaeda’s honchos are dead or in U.S. custody singing like canaries.

The front in the war on terror is in Iraq, not America.

So, what is the new direction the democrats want to take us in? And, more importantly, why?
