Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Howard "The Mouth That Roared" Dean has said that democrats have a plan for when they return to power. That plan consists of:

1. Concluding negotiations with the Chinese and the North Koreans to disarm North Korea.

2. Not allowing Iran to become a nuclear power.

3. Kill or capture Osama bin Laden.

Now that the democrats are in charge of Congress, I fully expect them to petition President Bush to:

1. Send a delegation of democrats to conclude negotiations for the disarmament of North Korea.

2. Send a delegation of democrats to Iran to make sure that that country does not become a nuclear power.

3. Send a delegation of democrats to wherever in the world they think he is to kill or capture Osama bin Laden.

And, I expect them to do it now. No time like the present to start doing all the great things you think you can do for America.

By the way, why is Alcee Hastings in Congress? He was a former federal judge who was impeached and removed from office. The Constitution provides that such a person is disqualified "to hold and enjoy any office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States." Isn't allowing him to serve in Congress an acknowledgement that Congress is not an "office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States."


Of course it is.
