Dear Mr. Ahmadinejad:

I recently read where you claim that someone named Mahdi will reappear on earth with Jesus, possibly by the spring equinox. You claim that Jesus will act as the lieutenant for this Mahdi in the struggle against oppression and establishment of justice in the world and that Jesus himself has told of the coming of God’s last messenger.

I can’t help but wonder where you get your information. Even Jesus doesn’t know the date of His return (Matthew 4:36, Mark 13:32), so how can you? Secondly, Jesus is the Son of God. So, why would He act as a lieutenant for a mere messenger of God? Finally, where does Jesus speak of the coming of God’s last messenger? I can’t find it anywhere in my Bible.

You also asked Christians a question: What would Jesus do if he were present in the world today?

I don’t know everything that Jesus would do if He were present in the world today. I have a suspicion, though, that He wouldn’t put up with your stated intention to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Just in case you haven’t heard, Jews are God’s chosen people. I also don’t think He would allow your wanton slaughter of people who profess God instead of Allah.

That’s a question I can answer. Christians will be following Him. You and your kind will be the ones opposing Him, and that’s not a place I would want to be.
